Holiday seasoning.

Bring on the holiday season! In a time when tensions are high and the future looks grim, it's good to have a little blissful fa-la-la'ing to fall back on to create some joy.  First up? The Gardens Aglow at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens.  We went on opening weekend and it was spectacular.  The temp was mild, the sky crystal clear, and the displays stunning.  Definitely making this a yearly tradition. We got there at dusk and it only became lovelier as the night grew darker.

A favorite tradition of recent years is the Feztival of Trees put on by the Kora Shriners of Lewiston.  Always the week of Thanksgiving, it's a magical start to the season and your first real sighting of Santa.  This year, you had quite the long, involved convo with him.

Then Thanksgiving with Grammie and Grampie...

A rainy Saturday after Thanksgiving led us to the Children's Museum in Portland. Madeleine's first introduction to the fun!

November ended,(thank goodness), December began...Sparkle Express, snow...It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...
