Kindergarten. Check.

What a day, what a week, what a month, what a year! It's hard to fathom that we just had preschool graduation and now kindergarten is over. All the uncertainty that came with solo bus rides, new friends, new teachers, new everything, all wiped away with a banner year of kindergarten.  We couldn't have asked for a better teacher, and she only helped to nurture and guide his every step throughout this last year.  It's been a busy last couple of months--tball, concerts, birthday parties, field trips, and just overall life.

Now it's summer...the last day of school was Friday, and there's a stretch of excitement that lies ahead...vacation! camp! camp! camp! But first, a look back.

One of my favorite things to have happen in the last month was the adorable concert that grades K-2 put on with local children's musician Matt Loosigian

Then there was the actual song itself.

Our weekends have been consumed by tball, which has been awesome, and definitely your sport.  Tonight at practice, the coaches had the team hit without a tee...and when the coach was tossing you the ball, you nailed it, sending it flying into left field.  It was such a sight!

Then there was that random day that you didn't have school, so we brought Mads to daycare, and we had a day to ourselves, just you and me.  We found ourselves in downtown Richmond, across from beautiful Swan Island.

Then there's the day you, me and Maddy spent the morning at the Botanical Gardens. So much fun.

June brought evening walks along the river, a field trip to Dairy Queen with your class, random rainbows, pajama day, and then of course, the end of school.

So there it is. Kindergarten year 2015-2016 is in the books. And speaking of books, here's a little greatness that was achieved this year:

Now it's summer...vacation is upon us. Here's to enjoying it to the fullest!
